Home-made fencing is not acceptable. It always has to be compliant, meaning it has been tested/inspected and meets certain standards.
Heat the pool when it’s least needed, and properly set up is expensive. Okay for DIY above ground pools.
Heating can extend the usable season of the pool allowing the maximum pleasure from your pool for a greater part of the year. Primarily in the spring and autumn when the night-time temperatures prevent the pool from retaining heat, and for making summer early morning dips so much more pleasurable.
These work on the latest intermittent supply technology or inverters so are very energy efficient. A unit suitable for an 8 x 4 pool typically costs from €2.90 to €4.30 a day to run. Costs vary depending on the pool type, quality of the cover, how long it is left open per day and how long the pump is cycled per day. They can even be controlled remotely using a Wi-Fi connection.
We can supply and fit liners to all types of pools except fibreglass, whether it has an existing liner or if it is tiled with a recurring leak problem. Liners are made to measure at the fabricators and can be supplied in a variety of colours and quality grades, with or without integral boarders.
We can carry out a full health check on your assembly and make repairs or recommendations to maximise its efficiency.
We can provide a terracing option from easy-care slabs, to natural stone or wood. Size and material can be tailored to your budget (contact for details). This service can be provided independently to a pool purchase.
We can carry out renovation of older pools from simply replacing a liner to major renovations including replacement of plumbing and associated material. Changing tired-looking steps and/or reshaping of the original pool.
If your security option is a cover it will be necessary to have something to anchor it to. The most practical being a terrace.
A security option is obligatory under current AFNOR regulations, and must comply with the NF P 90-308 code. You need to state what type of security you are going to use when you make your application.
Three main types are offered. One is a simple cover that is secured by a series of pegs around the perimeter. The second is a manual roll-up type with alloy poles spanning the pool to give it its rigidity (manual winder supplied). A rechargeable battery powered winder is available as an option. The third type are
volets (surface floating slats) with the axle either mounted above the end of the pool or emergent. Other variants are available on request.
All covers comply to NF P90-308. A few examples of covers are shown in the following pictures.
